I come to the car, inspect it top to bottom, and walk you through everything I find — so you can buy with confidence, negotiate smart, or walk away without regret. Same-day and next-day appointments available across Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Hanover, Midlothian & Short Pump.
Why a PPI
A pre-purchase inspection helps remove the guesswork before you commit. Most buyers wish they had done this first — and the ones who do are glad they did.
Some problems don't show up on a quick test drive. An inspection can uncover issues that could turn into costly repairs after the purchase.
Not every issue is a deal-breaker. I help you understand the difference between normal wear and problems that deserve real attention.
Knowing the condition of the vehicle ahead of time makes the decision easier — and prevents second-guessing later.
If issues are found, you have real information to support a price discussion or request repairs before buying.
What I Check
The goal isn't to overwhelm you with technical details — it's to understand the overall condition of the car and explain any concerns in plain language.
Paint, panels, glass, lights, signs of prior damage, anything that doesn't look right at a glance.
Seats, seat belts, dash warnings, infotainment, HVAC, windows, locks, and daily-use features.
Fluids, leaks, belts, hoses, and general condition — looking for signs of neglect or potential problems.
Wear items, ride quality, noises, and anything that could affect safety or lead to near-term repairs.
Visible leaks, damage, rust, or concerns not obvious from above.
How the vehicle starts, shifts, brakes, and feels on the road.
Trouble codes and system status, including issues that haven't triggered a warning light yet.
I won't just hand you a checklist and move on. If something stands out, I'll explain:
How It Works
Share the year, make, model, VIN (if available), and where the vehicle is located. This helps me understand what I'm walking into and confirm availability — same-day and next-day appointments are often available.
I meet at the vehicle's location, perform the full inspection, and run a computer scan. I take note of anything that stands out or deserves a closer look.
You receive a PDF with a full summary and photos. I walk you through what I found, explain what matters, and answer your questions — so you can buy with confidence, negotiate, or walk away. All three are good outcomes.
What Customers Say
"Buying a used car is nerve-wracking but it doesn't have to be. Khalid did a thorough pre-purchase report before I bought my used car. His expertise and communication are terrific — he clearly explained everything he was doing and why. He pointed out qualities I never would have noticed on my own. I feel very confident in my purchase and it's all thanks to him. He's very responsive when you contact him. Check him out!"

⭐ Leave a Google ReviewA Question I Get A Lot
A clean history report only shows what got reported. A dealer's own inspection is written by the dealer. Neither one tells you what I'm going to find standing next to the car with my own eyes.
A few months ago I did a PPI for a buyer out of state on a car from a local, well-known dealer. It had just 15,000 miles and looked flawless in the online listing. In person, I found a door that didn't line up right and a faint hint of overspray nearby. Looking closer, the hood, fender, door, and bumper had all been replaced, and none of it was disclosed to the buyer. I got him on FaceTime right there in the driveway and sent over video and photos so he could go back to the dealer with real questions. He ended up passing on the car. It looked beautiful online, but it had been in an accident, and he was glad he found out in person instead of having it shipped across the country only to discover the damage after it arrived.
That's the gap I fill. Photos and paperwork can look perfect. A misaligned door and a faint line of overspray don't lie, but only if someone is standing there in person to catch it before the money changes hands.
Why RVA Mobile PPI
Experience from both the technical and customer side helps me see issues in context, not just as isolated checklist items.
I'm not connected to the seller or dealership. My only job is to give you honest information so you can make the right call.
I take the time to explain what I find and what it means for you — especially if you're not a car person.
